    Post Would appreciate any help indentifying sword

    Hi,could anyone please help me identifying & giving me any information on my sword (left to me by my father.)I cannot find any makers marks etc on it.The handle is approx 5 inches with the blade being 30 inches long.Really sorry guys if my terminology isnt correct,I am new to this site & have nil knowledge of swords.Any help would be truly greatfully recieved as I am really interested to learn about it.Many thanks & kind regards.

    It looks like an artillery sword to me.
    A collector turned dealer purely so he can experience more swords!

    Thank you SwordSales.EU my dear old Dad said it was something to do with Cavalry,guess he got that bit of info wrong lol.Any ideas on how I can actually find out more about it ? Would really appreciate any info eg age etc.thanks again ;0)

    I do not know, especially as I can not see any markings. Could be from many different countries.
